How to apply for SSC JE Registration 2024
If you’re looking to apply for a Junior Engineer position, the first thing is to ensure you fit the job requirements given in the notification. Here’s how you can apply:
- Go to the SSC website at ssc.gov.in.
- Find and click on the “Apply online” link on the main page.
- Sign up for an account and then log in.
- Fill out the application form and pay the application fee.
- Hit the submit button and download the confirmation page.
- Keep a printout of this for future use.
The application charge is ₹100. But, if you are a woman, or if you belong to the SC, ST, Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), or you are an ExServiceman who has a reservation, you don’t need to pay this fee. You can apply until April 18, 2024. You have until April 19, 2024, to pay the fees online. If you need to change your application, you can do so between April 22 and April 23, 2024. The first exam, Paper I, will happen from June 4 to June 6, 2024. We will tell you later when Paper II will be.

How we choose
We will select people through a computer exam. There will be two papers, Paper I and Paper II. Both will have objective questions that you can choose answers to. The questions will be in both Hindi & English. Be careful, as you will lose 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Paper I and one mark for every wrong answer in Paper II.
Application Fee
You have to pay ₹100 for the form. But, ladies and anyone from SC (Scheduled Castes), ST (Scheduled Tribes), folks with certain disabilities (PwBD), and ex-army men who have a reservation don’t need to pay this fee.
