UCEED Counselling 2024 Registration – How to Apply

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay, has started the registration process for counseling for the Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design (UCEED). If you’ve passed the exam, you can apply for admission to design courses by visiting IIT Bombay’s official website at uceed.iitb.ac.in.

Only those who have passed the UCEED exam and got a rank can apply for admission to the BDes program at various institutes like IIT Guwahati, IIT Bombay, IIITDM Jabalpur, IIT Hyderabad, and IIT Delhi for the academic year 2024-2025.

The application form for B Design will be managed by the UCEED Office, IIT Bombay, for the joint seat allocation process. Also, applicants need to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs 4,000 during registration.

Here are the important dates for UCEED Counseling in 2024:

  • You can apply online for the BDes program from March 14 to March 31, 2024.
  • Round 1 of seat allotment will take place on April 10.
  • Round 2 of seat allotment will take place on May 10.
  • Round 3 of seat allotment will take place on June 10.

Here’s How to apply for UCEED counseling in 2024:

  1. Go to the official website of IIT Bombay at uceed.iitb.ac.in.
  2. On the homepage, find and click on the link to apply for B.Design admissions.
  3. A new page will open. Log in with your credentials.
  4. Fill in the application form with your academic and personal information.
  5. Choose your preferred institutes from the options provided.
  6. Scan and upload your documents in the specified size and format.
  7. Pay the application fee as required and click the submit button.
  8. Keep a copy of the confirmation page for your records.

Documents needed for UCEED Counseling 2024:

  • Your Class 12 mark sheet
  • Your birth certificate showing your date of birth
  • If you have a physical disability, you’ll need a certificate for that
  • A caste certificate if applicable
  • A certificate showing you belong to the Economically Weaker Section (EWS)
  • Proof of your nationality
  • If you’re an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) or a Person of Indian Origin (PIO), you’ll need certificates for that too.
